Board of Directors:

We are seeking community members to serve on our board of directors! The term begins in November of 2023; all new members will be voted in at our annual meeting scheduled for November 14, 2023 @ 6:00 pm, Location TBD. 

Applications are due August 1, 2023.

Applicants will be contacted during the first two weeks of August for interviews and will be invited to attend one of two board meetings for a meet and greet - September 12 @ 5:30 pm or October 10 @ 5:30 pm.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteering is a great way to support your local communities and the people we serve. Volunteers often help with light clerical or office duties, fundraising and taking our after hours Safe Line. 

If you're interested in volunteering with the Southwest Crisis Center, please fill out the Volunteer Form below and return it to us.

 

Please Note: All volunteers must complete a Criminal Background Check. For volunteers interested in assisting with the Safe Line, training is available. For more information or questions, please email catherine@mnswcc.org or call 507-376-4311 and ask for Cathy. 

Internship Opportunities

We offer a select number of internships each year to students wishing to gain more experience in our field. Internships are available in all our program including our Safe Harbor/Youth Program, Domestic and Sexual Violence Program, and our Child Advocacy Program.
