We accept volunteers to assist advocates with the 24-Hour Safe Line, help with events, help staff our offices, and even to help with routine office duties. If you want to express an interest in volunteering with the Southwest Crisis Center, please fill out the Volunteer Form (below) and return it to us. All volunteers must complete a Criminal Background Check. For volunteers interested in assisting with the Safe Line, training is available.
We offer a select number of internships each year to students wishing to gain more experience in the domestic violence and/or sexual assault fields. To apply for an internship please complete the application below. For questions and other opportunities regarding interning with the SWCC, contact our main office at 507-376-4311.
If you wish to make a donation, please call one of our county offices to see if we are need of the item before dropping it off. We welcome items such as unused blankets, unused/unopened toiletries, and some gently used clothing for victims and their children. Items such as furniture and appliances should be pre-approved by staff. See below for additional items needed in our Wish List!
